For state-specific legal facts, the preferred source is the responsible state workers’ compensation agency, legislature, regulation, court or administrative tribunal, or another primary government source. Federal-program pages should use the responsible federal agency.
Facts that require primary-source support

- Appeal or hearing deadlines and required forms.
- Benefit formulas, maximums, minimums, offsets, and waiting periods.
- Doctor-selection, treatment-review, and medical-network rules.
- Attorney-fee approval rules and settlement procedures.
Drafting and updates
AI-assisted tools may help organize drafts, but publication does not turn an unsupported statement into a verified legal fact. Pages should identify official resources when a reader needs a current procedural answer. Material errors should be corrected when identified.
Commercial independence
The current editorial pages do not treat paid placement, attorney slogans, ratings, testimonials, or case outcomes as proof that one lawyer is “best.” Any future paid relationship should be clearly labeled where it appears.
